Day 60: The Window Shopping

Photo of the Day: Ice Under Construction

Today after work, I went window shopping in SoHo at a retail outlet called Uniqlo. I'd heard it recommended by two different people over the past week, so I really wanted to check it out. As I browed the massive store, I found an attractive overcoat and blazer, both of which were unfortunately out of my price range. However, I did really like the way the clothes fit, so it's good to know for future reference.

Tuesday fellowship was awesome today. We covered the topic of idolatry and what that looks like in today's modern age. There was some really great and honest discussion as we explored our own passions that sometimes pass from something positive to something that takes over our lives.

I went window shopping at Uniqlo after work. I saw two really nice jackets I like, but they were way out of my price range.
Bank of America Tower and Bryant Park Ice Rink construction.
I forgot to grab dinner before Tuesday fellowship, so thankfully the tamale lady was waiting right outside the subway station when I got home. Two giant tamales for $2.50. Yum!

  1. Love that store windows shot.

  2. Thanks! those blocks of color are actually shelves upon shelves of wool sweaters.

  3. I know i mentioned it before, but i love your pictures...teach me please

  4. Thanks, Ms.Win! It took me a while to figure out who you were, but the picture helped, haha. I'd be perfectly happy to teach you, but you've gotta come to me! =)

  5. Berapa blazernya?eli aja, on me. Susah cari yg Josh suka! Casual or formal?

  6. och, kalo mau beli yg mahal, invest in something waterproof ya... don't want you to get caught in sleet/snow and wind up sick!

  7. Haha, thanks for being so concerned! I don't actually need the jackets right now at all. I do have warm, waterproof coats, and I don't need to dress up for work, so it would be an unnecessary expense right now.

But in case you're curious, here are the items I tried on:

    Wool duffle coat:

    Cotton corduroy slim fit jacket:

  8. Everywhere I've lived, from Houston to Killeen to California and now New York, there has ALWAYS been a tamale lady.
